Associate Attorney needed for New York City office

New York City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience in renewable energy project development, project finance, and mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong interest in growing renewable energy practices. Should have a meaningful experience with transacting on renewable energy projects involving wind and solar power, including complex transactions involving project finance, investment structures, tax equity, real estate, and energy laws. Should have a general familiarity with corporate and commercial transactions and meaningful experience: Representing lenders and financial institutions in the drafting/negotiation of documentation relating to project financing, including construction, term, and development financings; Representing project developers and project sponsors in the drafting/negotiation of renewable energy project documents, such as EPC contracts, O&M agreements, power purchase agreements, and ground and roof leases, as well as conducting due diligence of renewable energy projects; and representing buyers and sellers in corporate acquisitions and dispositions.

The candidate must have an excellent academic record and strong writing and analysis skills.
