A law firm in Minneapolis is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in employment law. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, excellent research, writing, and communication skills, and be admitted to practice in the state of Minnesota. Experience advising on employment-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions is considered a plus.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and counsel on a wide range of labor and employment matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on employment law issues.
  • Draft and review employment-related agreements, policies, and handbooks.
  • Represent clients in labor and employment litigation proceedings.
  • Assist with investigations and responses to administrative charges and complaints.
  • Advise clients on employment-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and clients across offices and practice areas.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of employment law experience.
  • Admission to practice law in the state of Minnesota.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Minnesota.

 

Skills:

  • Knowledge of labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with both litigation and counseling.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
