A prestigious law firm in New York City, NY, is actively seeking a growth-oriented Employment Law Partner who can demonstrate a successful track record of generating at least $200,000 or more in portable revenue. This partnership opportunity requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel and representation to clients on a broad spectrum of employment law matters. This includes leading and managing complex employment litigation cases, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and offering legal opinions on employment law issues. Additionally, the Employment Law Partner will collaborate with clients to develop employment policies, handbooks, and training programs to ensure compliance with state and federal laws. Furthermore, the role involves strategic guidance on labor and employment matters, including collective bargaining agreements and union negotiations, as well as representation in administrative proceedings such as EEOC investigations and hearings. The Employment Law Partner will play a pivotal role in mentoring and supervising junior associates and legal staff to foster their professional development and growth. Building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying business development opportunities, and expanding the firm's employment law practice will also be integral to this position. Staying updated on changes in employment law legislation and regulations and providing proactive advice to clients are key responsibilities.
