Job Overview:

A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Employment Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of experience in employment litigation and counseling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and possess expertise in traditional labor law, OSHA, and/or transactional matters. The successful candidate should exhibit excellent research and writing skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a dedicated commitment to professional excellence. Admission to the New York Bar is a mandatory requirement.

Job Duties:

  • Handle employment litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and conducting discovery procedures.
  • Provide legal counsel on employment-related matters to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Research and analyze legal issues about employment law, keeping abreast of relevant precedents and developments.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff on case strategy and client representation.
  • Assist in the negotiation and drafting of employment-related agreements and contracts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment litigation and counseling.
  • Preferred experience in traditional labor law, OSHA, and/or transactional matters.
  • Admitted to the New York Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York Bar.
