Summary: Morrison & Foerster added an experienced financial services attorney to their Washington D.C. Financial Services Group.
Morrison & Foerster announced the addition of Susan Gault-Brown to their Washington D.C. office. Gault-Brown, an experienced financial services attorney, will join the firm’s Financial Services Group as a partner from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
Gault-Brown brings with her extensive expertise in investment management, FinTech, and financial services. She also has experience as a senior counsel in the Division of Investment Management’s Office of Chief Counsel at the SEC.
Co-Chair of the Finance Department Gary Lee said, “The diverse practice that Susan brings to the firm, particularly her extensive expertise in investment management, further strengthens our talented global finance group. Susan is a terrific complement to many of our practices, and our clients will greatly benefit from her industry knowledge.”

Gault-Brown will focus her work on those in the investment management, FinTech, and financial services industries. She advises exempt reporting advisers, investment advisers, broker-dealers, funding portals, private funds, commodity pool operators, commodity trading advisors, FinTech companies, and cryptocurrency and blockchain companies.

Gault-Brown earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, an M.A. from Washington University, and a B.A. from Duke University.
