Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. is continuing to put forth effort in expanding their litigation practice nationally by adding Therese Doherty to the New York team. Doherty will join as a Member from her position as co-chair of the Litigation Department at Herrick Feinstein. This is the third major addition to the litigation team in the past two months.

Managing Member Bob Bodian said, “We are delighted to have Therese join the firm. Therese not only is one of the most accomplished securities litigators in the country, but she fits perfectly into our collaborative culture. The firm just concluded its second record-breaking year in a row, with revenue up 33% and profits per partner up 25% during that time, and the addition of Therese and other talented partners puts even more wind at our backs, and offers our clients more depth and breadth in key areas. This is a very exciting time for Mintz Levin.”

Doherty has experience with civil litigation, regulatory enforcement proceedings, and internal investigations that involve securities, derivatives, and futures. She advises banks, broker-deals, industry executives and futures commission merchants in high stakes litigation strategy such as handling corporate crises and internal investigations. She does this by developing policies, procedures and controls to provide incisive regulatory compliance counseling.

Other recent additions include Christopher Sullivan, Anthony Mulrain, and Anthony J. Marsico. Sullivan is a trial and appellate attorney. Mulrain specializes in sports and entertainment law. Marsico is a leading corporate finance and capital markets attorney that joined the Corporate and Securities practice.
