Education Juris Doctor, Columbia Law School Bachelor of Arts, Duke University
Nadeen Weybrecht is one of BCG’s most versatile legal recruiters. With expertise in the legal markets of the Mid-Atlantic and East Coast, she regularly places candidates in large, mid-sized and small firms throughout those regions, including in New York; Boston; Washington, D.C.; Baltimore; and Charlotte.
Ms. Weybrecht decided to become a lawyer when she was just seven years old, after witnessing what she perceived to be an injustice. Her passion to help people and make a difference inspired her to go to law school, to select certain kinds of legal jobs, and to become a BCG legal recruiter.
She went to college at Duke University, where she graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa and earned a place on the Dean’s List with Distinction every semester. She majored in English and maintains a fondness for the works of Jane Austen, William Shakespeare, and other British authors. She earned a minor in Spanish and speaks Spanish in addition to Arabic.
Then it was on to Columbia Law School, where she was Development Editor for the Columbia Business Law Review and received the Grant Scholarship for Academic Excellence among other honors. She was a summer associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in Los Angeles, Vinson & Elkins in Houston, and Locke Liddell & Sapp in Houston.
Her first job out of law school was with Baker & Botts, as a corporate associate handling public offerings, private placements, and oil and gas transactions. She enjoyed certain aspects of the firm, especially the excellent training and the people she worked with, but when it came to the substantive work she wanted to feel more of a connection to real people and not just focus on abstract corporate and financial transactions.
So she made a lateral move to the business immigration firm of Foster Quan in Houston, where she counseled clients on immigration and employment law issues. She found the work gratifying because it involved the lives of actual individuals and their families.
After her attorney career, she learned of an opportunity with BCG and decided to give recruiting a try. She took to the work immediately and feels it is the perfect fit because it allows her to help people and also make use of her real world experience in the legal industry. She becomes heavily invested in her clients – often losing sleep as she turns over the nuances of placement transactions in her head – and she feels great satisfaction when she is able to guide fellow lawyers towards more fulfilling professional and personal lives.
Ms. Weybrecht loves to travel, especially to vibrant urban centers like London and Cairo, and to places with good food and scenery, like Italy and Mexico. She and her husband, also an attorney, live with their daughter in the Northern Virginia area. In their free time, the family enjoys going to the theater and the beach, playing sports, and watching Duke basketball.
As you will have noticed, I am not always the speediest responder to e-mail, nor do I relish the idea of identifying opportunities and keeping track of my application process at each of them. Your approach to recruiting was one of the most appealing things about you in our first call, when you mentioned your "type-A" approach to tracking progress and proving updates. You have, if anything, exceeded that description. In fact, I do not imagine that I would have found the Perkins Coie opportunity without you, let alone tracked it over several (or more) months as negotiations progressed.
I cannot thank you enough for your assistance and candor throughout this process. Working with you has given me the confidence to explore outside opportunities that I did not previously feel were even within reach. I know that you have worked hard for me, and I really appreciate your time and effort. Again, my sincerest thanks.
As a new attorney with less than a year of experience, I was skeptical that BCG could help me. I thought one needed an established practice to leverage a legal recruitment service. Thankfully, I was proved wrong. Almost immediately, I was interviewed for positions matching my aspirations. Moreover, it was a pleasure working with Nadeen, Julie, and Christina. They were very helpful throughout the process; they found opportunities that interest me, provided helpful resources, and coached me for interviews. Overall, good experience and will recommend.

My recruiter contacted me quickly after my initial contact with BCG. She took the time to get to know me and understand my job search requirements. She identified all possible openings for me, and contacted me often with new job opportunities and updates on my job search. My recruiter also returned my emails and phone calls promptly, was knowledgeable about the market, was an advocate for me and had my best interest at heart. She also prepared me well for my interviews.
I would use this recruiter and BCG again if I am ever looking for another position.

I am writing to provide my unreserved praise of your recruiter, Nadeen Weybrecht. Nadeen reached out to me in response to an online submission through the BCG website and from our first interaction I was struck by her professionalism and thoughtfulness. Having taken a step out of the legal industry for several years, I was concerned that recruiters would have little interest in my resume. What others saw as an obstacle, Nadeen saw as an asset. Over the following weeks, Nadeen acted as a counselor, coach and cheerleader in her tireless efforts to find the perfect placement for me in the dynamic New York legal market. She looked at my experience with a careful eye and presented my work history to prospective employers in a truly compelling manner-resulting in multiple interviews at top tier firms. Nadeen worked with me directly to prepare for the interview process and gave practical advice on what to expect and how to respond to the situations and environments her clients confront during the interviewing process. She worked outside of the "normal channels" to get my resume and credentials in front of firms, even if those firms did not have any known openings. I was particular impressed that Nadeen connected me to other BCG recruiters across the country when I desired to broaden my search. During each of our interactions, it was clear to me that Nadeen genuinely cared about me and her other clients and was willing to help in any way possible to find the right next step. I look forward to recommending Nadeen to any colleagues in need of a recruiter and know that she will provide the same professional, personable and passionate service she provided to me. I would be happy to provide any additional information or to serve as a reference for any potential candidates-it would truly be my pleasure.

Thank you for all of the great work you've done for me and my job search.
I sincerely appreciate your help with my job search. Of all of the recruiters I have spoken and worked with in the past six months, you are certainly the most professional and impressive one I've worked with. You do a great job advocating for your clients and getting results.
It has been a great pleasure working with you and I wish you the best.

Nadeen was great. She sort of quartered back the whole process for me and made it easy. As a lateral, I didn't have time do to do the research, write all the materials, submit them, and coordinate interviews. So just having her as the point person was awesome.

I worked with Nadeen over the course of a few months and have to say that she was absolutely phenomenal. Her approach was very different from other recruiters I’ve worked with; she took the time to get to know me – my goals, my aspirations and my experiences – and was really focused on finding the right role for me. After our initial call, she wasted no time in researching firms that offered what I was looking for and put together a plan specific for my unique situation. Once my details were submitted, interview requests followed shortly thereafter and I was fortunate to have Nadeen in my corner providing invaluable coaching and guidance at every stage of the interview process (having been in the legal industry for so long, I didn’t think there would be so much to learn about interview techniques but as I learned from Nadeen, there is a right way and a wrong way to answer even the most-straight forward of interview questions!). Nadeen ensured that I was well prepared and able to maneuver successfully through this minefield, and as a result of her tactful negotiations, we secured multiple offers! It was a real pleasure working with Nadeen and I am fortunate to have found her. She was proactive, provided me with regular updates and always stayed a step ahead of me. She is very professional, knows the industry well and provided excellent feedback during each stage of the process. Nadeen exceeded my expectations in every respect and I would absolutely, without hesitation, recommend her to others. ~ Attorney (Atlanta, GA)
