Job Title: Environmental Transactions Regulatory Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm based in Washington, D.C., is seeking a driven Associate Attorney with 1-4 years of experience to join its Environmental Regulatory & Transactions practice group. The ideal candidate will have exposure to a diverse spectrum of environmental regulations and demonstrate a strong interest in compliance, enforcement, and liability matters. Candidates with a background in administrative law or restructuring, coupled with a passion for environmental law, are especially encouraged to apply. This opportunity is presented through a legal recruiting firm on behalf of the hiring law firm.

Duties:

  • Assist clients with environmental regulatory compliance and risk assessment across a variety of industries

  • Support transactional due diligence involving environmental liabilities

  • Collaborate with attorneys across offices on complex environmental litigation matters

Requirements:

Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical, legal research, and writing skills

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

  • Team-oriented mindset with attention to detail

Job Location:

  • Washington, D.C.

If a major corporation is involved in a front page dispute, chances are that this firm is handling the defense. The full service law firm is ultimately all about trial work, enticing hungry young associates from top law schools to join their offices. In Washington DC, you can be guaranteed that the serious fellow in the conference room is the CEO of a major corporation, although associates will spend a few years in the library before they get to meet him. Support staff, compensation, and office environment are all top of the line. The training program and relatively speedy partnership track are an added bonus as well.

Your information will not be forwarded to any employers at this time. A recruiter will contact you with more information once our internal review of your resume is completed.
