The ideal candidate should possess 2-3 years of experience in management-side employment law and have a background in providing employment-related support for corporate transactions, drafting employment agreements, conducting investigations, and counseling clients on employment-related issues.

 

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with technology, life science, and private equity clients on employment-related matters.
  • Provide employment-related support for corporate transactions and draft employment agreements, separation agreements, and policies.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and offer counseling on various employment-related issues, including disputes and negotiations.
  • Preferred experience with agency proceedings, employee mobility disputes, and employment litigation.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in management-side employment law.
  • Strong skills in drafting employment agreements and policies, and conducting investigations.
  • Experience counseling on a broad spectrum of employment-related issues.
  • Outstanding academic credentials and relevant law firm experience.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the California Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Drafting proficiency for employment-related documents and policies.
  • Counsel clients on diverse employment-related matters, disputes, and negotiations.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and navigate dispute resolutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
