Job Title: Associate Attorney - Employment Litigation

Job Overview:
A Los Angeles-based law firm is actively seeking a litigation associate with a strong interest in employment law to join its advocacy-driven legal team. The role offers substantial hands-on experience, early exposure to high-impact cases, and a collaborative environment where associates can grow quickly under the guidance of experienced litigators. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney passionate about employee rights and interested in pursuing complex wage and hour, class action, and discrimination matters.

Duties:

  • Draft and argue legal motions, including dispositive and class certification motions

  • Conduct detailed legal research and produce well-crafted pleadings, briefs, and memoranda

  • Manage the discovery process, including written discovery and depositions

  • Participate in case strategy development and maintain ongoing client communications

  • Assist in all litigation phases from case intake through trial preparation

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in California (or pending bar admission)

  • 1-5 years of experience in litigation (employment law experience preferred)

  • Strong understanding of California employment law or demonstrated interest in the field

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Willingness to take initiative and contribute meaningfully to litigation strategy

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • California State Bar admission required (or anticipated shortly)
