Mid-Senior Level Appellate Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Senior Level Appellate Associate in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in appellate law, particularly within the Ninth Circuit and California appellate courts, and will assist trial counsel in all phases of litigation to preserve and develop issues for appellate review.

Duties

• Brief and argue appeals before the Ninth Circuit and California appellate courts.
• Assist trial counsel in preserving and developing issues for appellate review.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of appellate experience.
• Prior federal or state appellate clerkship experience preferred.
• Experience with labor and employment law is advantageous.
• Admission to the California Bar is required.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• California Bar admission.
