Senior Attorney

A law firm in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Senior Attorney with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in drafting litigation documents, specifically motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions in health care, ERISA, and commercial litigation matters. The successful candidate should possess strong communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills, and be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team. The Senior Attorney will be responsible for producing high-quality work products, meeting deadlines, and effectively communicating with clients, lawyers, and other professionals.

Duties:

• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Demonstrate strong communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Utilize transferable skills and showcase a strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
• Manage projects effectively, paying close attention to detail.
• Communicate efficiently and responsively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables and respond to correspondence in a timely manner.
• Provide accurate and high-quality work products.
• Meet deadlines and expectations for assigned work duties.
• Undertake any other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned by the firm.
• State and federal court experience is a plus.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in drafting litigation documents.
• Experience with motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions in health care, ERISA, and commercial litigation matters.
• Strong communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
