Job Title: Senior Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Senior Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in civil litigation in state and federal courts, possessing excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Trial experience is essential, with a preference for candidates who have handled multi-district litigation. The Senior Attorney will be responsible for effectively communicating with clients, lawyers, and third parties, producing high-quality work products, meeting deadlines, and fostering positive work relationships.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
• Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience with civil litigation in state and federal courts.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience conducting and defending depositions.
• Experience managing a case docket and appearing in court is preferred.
• Experience with multi-district litigation is a plus.
• Trial experience is essential.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Georgia or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
