Associate Attorney needed for Atlanta office

A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Atlanta, GA office. This position offers the opportunity to engage in various aspects of litigation.

Job Overview:

• Engage in all facets of litigation, including case analysis, legal research, drafting motions, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Demonstrate exceptional research and writing skills and maintain a strong academic record.

Duties:

• Analyze cases and develop litigation strategies.
• Research and address complex legal issues.
• Draft and respond to written discovery requests.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue significant motions, including dispositive motions.
• Participate in mediations and arbitrations.
• Prepare cases for trial.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of comparable experience in litigation.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Strong academic record from a reputable law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Georgia or eligibility for admission via waiver or examination.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of Georgia.
