Duties

• Assist in defending clients in civil rights, public entity, and employment litigation matters

• Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and other court documents

• Participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances

• Analyze legal issues and develop litigation strategies under the mentorship of senior attorneys

• Engage in client communications and case updates

• Collaborate with team members to ensure client-focused outcomes and firm-wide best practices

• Participate in training and mentorship programs to develop litigation and trial skills

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, ideally in civil rights, employment, or professional liability defense

• Demonstrated interest in public entity or government-related legal work

• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced litigation environment

• Desire to grow within the firm and contribute to a supportive legal team

• Steady work history preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

• Admission to additional jurisdictions (e.g., New Jersey) is a plus
