Duties:

  • Research and analyze complex tax issues to provide strategic advice and counsel to clients.
  • Draft legal documents, including tax opinions, transactional agreements, and tax-related contracts.
  • Assist in tax planning and structuring for a variety of transactions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners in the firm to develop and implement tax strategies.
  • Represent clients in tax audits and controversies, and provide support during tax litigation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership and good standing in the Washington, D.C. Bar.
  • A minimum of 2 years of transactional tax experience in a reputable law firm.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws, regulations, and compliance.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership and good standing in the Washington, D.C. Bar.

Skills:
