The ideal candidate should have a strong background in working collaboratively within teams and managing some components of transactions independently. Duties:

  • Collaborate with legal teams and independently manage components of transactions related to tax and securities law issues in connection with equity-based arrangements and incentive compensation plans.
  • Provide legal counsel and representation to public and private companies on matters pertaining to tax and securities law compliance.
  • Offer expertise on ERISA, employee benefits, and general employment law matters.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and due diligence to support client transactions and provide proactive advice.
  • Draft and review legal documents related to equity-based compensation plans and incentive arrangements.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as an attorney.
  • Strong experience working collaboratively within teams and managing components of transactions independently.
  • Specific experience representing public and private companies on tax and securities law issues related to equity-based arrangements and incentive compensation plans.
  • Additional experience with ERISA, employee benefits, or general employment law matters is a plus.
  • Exceptional academic credentials.
  • Comparable law firm experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant admission is preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
