Troy office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an immigration attorney with 8-10 years of experience working in the employment-based immigration field as an attorney representing healthcare industry clients. The candidate will lead a team of experienced Attorneys and Case Managers that help leading healthcare organizations across the US manage their complex immigration programs and recruit and retain international talent working in varied healthcare occupations. Will also lead the teams work supporting the unique immigration needs of individual healthcare industry professionals from around the world who seek to work in the US as physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and medical researchers, as well as other emerging healthcare industry occupations in technology and administration. Act as the primary Client Relationship Manager for large and mid-size health system clients, helping oversee the management of all aspects of their complex immigration programs. Manage the work of a team of Attorneys and Case Managers, assuring that they deliver high-quality and creative legal services to healthcare immigration clients consistent with client expectations and firm values. Develop and implement practice team goals related to client service delivery standards, caseload management, new business development, talent recruitment, and team member mentorship and training. Collaborate closely with firm executive management to make sure practice team performance is aligned with firm goals. Foster a collegial and collaborative culture within the practice team consistent with the firms cultural values. Healthcare immigration experience should include H-1B, TN, O-1, J-1, J-1 waiver, PERM, PNIW green card, Schedule A green card, and immigration compliance issues essential. Should have considerable experience providing clear and creative immigration legal guidance to physicians (including GME), nurses, allied health professionals, medical researchers, and healthcare technology and administration professionals. Should have the ability to prioritize and manage a busy caseload in an efficient manner and consistent with numerous inflexible legal deadlines.

The candidate should have excellent communication skills, including the ability to break down complex legal concepts into language that is easy for clients to understand. Should have an extremely high level of attention to detail. Should possess an extremely high level of emotional intelligence and empathy. Should take pride in delivering highly responsive, creative, practical, and proactive client service.
