Associate - Patent Litigation/Intellectual Property

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate with 3-5 years of patent litigation experience to join their team in Indianapolis, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, or Cincinnati. The candidate will work with a group of over 20 professionals in patent litigation.

Duties

• Draft pleadings and manage discovery processes.
• Take and defend depositions effectively.
• Write dispositive motions and prepare for trials.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of patent litigation experience.
• Experience with PTAB proceedings preferred.
• Experience in trade secret and trademark litigation is a plus.

Education

• Background in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, life sciences, or related field preferred.

Certifications

• USPTO admission preferred.
