Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Business and Real Estate Attorney in Sacramento, California. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team, engaging with clients on business law matters, including entity formation, governance, and commercial contracts. This role involves both Zoom and in-person consultations, requiring a personable and detail-oriented professional.

Duties

  • Meet with prospective and current clients to gather information and design business plans.
  • Draft and review operating agreements, shareholders' agreements, and other client contracts.
  • Prepare and manage mergers and acquisitions transactions, including due diligence.
  • Review and prepare commercial lease agreements and real estate transaction documents.
  • Organize and maintain case and client files effectively.
  • Conduct client meetings, addressing questions and concerns.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client matters and technical questions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as an attorney with business transactional expertise.
  • Ability to solve problems and assist staff with arising issues.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks with professionalism and client focus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines under pressure.

Education

  • Licensed attorney by the California State Bar.
  • Ongoing courses and continuing education in Business Law.
