Duties:

  • Begin the day by checking emails, returning messages, and coordinating with assigned case managers.
  • Prepare for court appearances, legal proceedings, and case-related tasks throughout the day.
  • Conducted new client consultations and provided legal guidance.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions on behalf of clients.
  • Conduct thorough research and prepare cases for court presentations.
  • Review cases and provide updates to the firm's PAG team.
  • Engage in team training to enhance legal skills and knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with clients through in-person meetings, phone calls, virtual platforms, and written correspondence.
  • Ensure an exceptional client experience by delivering top-quality customer service.
  • Conduct meetings with current clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Manage a high volume of cases efficiently.
  • Perform all other tasks necessary to navigate cases from initiation to resolution.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the North Carolina State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.
  • Prior experience in handling civil litigation cases is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and case preparation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Comfortable with technology and legal software systems.

Education and Certifications:
