A law firm seeks a dedicated and experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join its growing team in California. Duties:

  • Manage and litigate a variety of insurance defense cases, including bodily injury defense, construction defect, and employment matters.
  • Work closely with clients, providing top-notch legal services and tailored solutions for their needs.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies, ensuring effective case management.
  • Handle depositions, legal research, motion practice, and representation in hearings and trials.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to maximize case outcomes.
  • Direct legal proceedings, managing the full cycle of litigation from initiation to settlement or trial.
  • Utilize modern legal technology to streamline processes and enhance case management efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 3-10 years of experience in insurance defense or related litigation, with a focus on bodily injury, construction defects, or employment cases.
  • Proven track record of managing civil litigation cases, including depositions, motions, and trial experience.
  • Strong ability to think creatively and strategically when handling legal challenges.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Motivated to deliver excellent client service while meeting the needs of diverse clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be admitted to practice law in California, with good standing in the California Bar.
  • Additional state licensure is a plus.
