Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate construction contracts, including EPC, EPCM, BOP, equipment supply, and operation and maintenance contracts.
  • Provide legal advice and support on construction-related matters to clients in the energy industry.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex construction law issues.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates to develop legal strategies and solutions.
  • Manage a team of legal professionals, providing guidance and supervision as needed.
  • Represent clients in dispute resolution proceedings, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington, DC Bar or eligibility for admission by motion.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience working on construction contracts, preferably in the energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction law principles and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Education:
