The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of broad corporate experience, with expertise in private credit and mezzanine debt. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) funds, and applicants must be admitted to the North Carolina State Bar.

Duties

  • Private Equity Focus: Collaborate with the private equity group, actively participating in private equity transactions.
  • Corporate Transactions: Manage and assist in various corporate transactions, emphasizing expertise in private credit, mezzanine debt, and related matters.
  • SBIC Fund Involvement: Apply knowledge and experience in working with SBIC funds, if applicable.
  • Legal Consultation: Provide expert legal advice and support on various corporate law matters.
  • Transaction Oversight: Oversee different aspects of transactions, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Experience: Ideally, a minimum of 5 years of broad corporate experience.
  • Private Equity Background: Familiarity with private credit and mezzanine debt transactions.
  • SBIC Funds: Preferred experience with Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) funds.
  • License: Admission to the North Carolina State Bar.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.): Degree from an accredited law school.
