Attorney needed for Los Angeles office

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly skilled Attorney to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will handle wage and hour class actions, from case inception to trial, including various litigation tasks and appeals.

Duties:

• Manage wage and hour class actions from case initiation to trial.
• Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for testimony.
• Draft and file class certification motions.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including litigating appeals.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top law school.
• High-class rank or academic achievement.
• Previous experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on class actions.
• Strong understanding of wage and hour laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Admission to the California Bar or eligibility to waive in.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a judicial clerkship or externship.
• Fluency in Spanish language.
