Labor and Employment Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney for their Los Angeles, CA office. The candidate, with 4-6 years of experience, should have employment counseling and litigation experience, with a preference for management-side labor and employment, wage and hour, and PAGA experience. The candidate must be admitted to practice in California. The Associate Attorney will contribute to the firm's practice with their expertise in employment counseling and litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, excellent writing skills, and a collaborative mindset to work across offices. Management-side labor and employment, wage and hour, and PAGA experience are considered advantageous for this role.

Duties:

• Provide expertise in labor and employment counseling and litigation.
• Handle management-side labor and employment matters.
• Demonstrate experience in wage and hour issues.
• Navigate matters related to the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).
• Collaborate across offices to support the firm's objectives.
• Contribute to legal writing and document preparation.
• Provide legal advice to clients on labor and employment matters.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Employment counseling and litigation experience.
• Preferably experience on the management side.
• Familiarity with wage and hour issues and PAGA.
• Admission to practice in California.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in California.
