Employment Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience. The ideal candidate must have excellent writing and oral advocacy skills, along with significant experience in discovery and law and motion practice. They should be a team player, self-starter, and possess strong organizational skills.

Duties:

• Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
• Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Communicate with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of employment litigation experience
• Membership in the local Bar association (active member preferred)
• Proficiency in computer skills, including FileSite and Coyote Analytics, is preferred

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Membership in the local Bar association
