Job Duties:

  • Work closely with senior attorneys to handle various employment law cases, providing legal analysis and support.
  • Engage in preparing and managing cases related to workers' rights, including but not limited to wrongful termination, discrimination, wage and hour disputes, and workplace harassment.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis in California employment law to ensure up-to-date and effective representation.
  • Draft legal documents such as briefs, motions, and memoranda that meet the high clarity, accuracy, and persuasiveness standards.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings, ensuring their rights are protected and advanced.
  • Advise clients on legal rights and obligations related to employment, interpreting and explaining complex legal issues clearly and effectively.
  • Participate in client meetings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials as required.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California or expect to obtain licensure in the near future.
  • Demonstrated expertise in California employment law.
  • Exceptional writing and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of the intricacies and applications of employment law.
  • Proven ability to handle complex legal issues and provide effective legal solutions.

Education:
