A law firm in San Francisco is actively seeking a Mid-level Employment and Labor Associate Attorney with 3-4 years of experience. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing Employment law compliance advice, handling litigation matters, and contributing to corporate M&A transactions. Strong research and analytical skills, exceptional writing abilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects while directly engaging with clients are essential for success in this role.

 

Duties:

  • Provide Employment law compliance advice and counseling.
  • Handle litigation, including trade secrets, employee mobility, wrongful termination, and employment discrimination cases.
  • Prepare and negotiate employment agreements, separation agreements, and other employment-related contracts and policies.
  • Conduct due diligence and draft/negotiate employment-related aspects of purchase and merger agreements in corporate M&A transactions.
  • Exercise sound legal and business knowledge in a broad spectrum of cases and counseling clients on ongoing matters.
  • Balance multiple projects and be responsive to client advice and counseling requests.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar.
  • 3-4 years of experience in Employment and Labor law.

 

Skills:

  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional writing abilities.
  • Comfort in dealing directly with clients.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects effectively.
  • Legal and business knowledge in Employment and Labor law.
