This role is ideal for a senior associate or junior partner with a strong track record in advising on complex corporate and financing transactions, especially within the energy sector. The attorney will play a pivotal role in structuring deals, ensuring regulatory compliance, and counseling on environmental risks related to business operations, investments, and disclosures. This opportunity is offered through a legal recruitment agency acting on behalf of the hiring law firm.

Duties:

  • Familiarity with SEC disclosure requirements and ESG considerations

  • Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory guidelines

  • Skilled in client advisory, legal drafting, and strategic negotiation

  • Capable of managing multiple high-stakes matters simultaneously

  • Effective collaborator with both legal and technical professionals

Job Location:

  • Washington, D.C.

If a major corporation is involved in a front page dispute, chances are that this firm is handling the defense. The full service law firm is ultimately all about trial work, enticing hungry young associates from top law schools to join their offices. In Washington DC, you can be guaranteed that the serious fellow in the conference room is the CEO of a major corporation, although associates will spend a few years in the library before they get to meet him. Support staff, compensation, and office environment are all top of the line. The training program and relatively speedy partnership track are an added bonus as well.

Your information will not be forwarded to any employers at this time. A recruiter will contact you with more information once our internal review of your resume is completed.
