Arnold & Porter Strengthens Government Contracts Practice with Partner James W. Kim
Arnold & Porter is pleased to announce that James W. Kim has joined the firm’s Government Contracts practice as a partner, resident in Washington, DC.
Craig Holman, Chair of Arnold & Porter’s Government Contracts and National Security practices, said: “James’s significant experience in Government Contracts and comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry makes him an excellent addition to our practice. He will add depth to our offering, particularly in relation to federal healthcare programs and drug pricing issues.”
Mr. Kim has a broad government contracts practice, with a focus on representing professional services organizations and the life sciences industry. He represents healthcare providers related to federal healthcare programs (including drug pricing and privacy matters), supports transactional matters involving government contractors, and structures government contracts compliance programs. He also represents government contractors in civil and criminal government fraud investigations involving the False Claims Act, the Procurement Integrity Act and the Anti-Kickback Act. Additionally, Mr. Kim has successfully litigated bid protest actions before the Government Accountability Office as well as the US Court of Federal Claims.
