Global law firm Goodwin today announced that James Crolle joined the firm’s Real Estate Industry practice as partner, resident in the Washington, D.C., office.

“As global real estate activity steadily picks back up, demand for opportunities in the hospitality and leisure industry is accelerating among our investor clients,” said Minta Kay, chair of Goodwin’s Real Estate Industry practice. “Jamie’s in-house and private practice experience in this sector adds a complementary perspective to our global team as we continue to strengthen our comprehensive offering.”

Crolle advises clients spanning the hospitality industry, from independent management companies to a wide array of owners including public REITs, private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds, and other institutional investors on acquisitions and dispositions, financings, joint ventures, complex commercial contracts, and operations related to hotels and other forms of commercial real estate. Prior to joining Goodwin, Crolle served as Senior Transaction Manager in the Real Estate Department at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), one of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds and global institutional real estate investors.

Over the past year, Goodwin’s Real Estate Industry practice welcomed nine new partners across the firm’s New York, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, London, and Frankfurt offices.
