Eckert Seamans Welcomes Matthew Allen

Eckert Seamans is pleased to welcome Matthew Allen to the firm’s Pittsburgh office. He focuses his practice on a broad range of commercial litigation matters and has represented numerous clients in the courtroom, litigating state, federal, administrative, and appellate cases. Allen manages litigation files from start to finish, including all aspects of discovery and settlement, and represents clients in mediations, arbitrations, expert medical depositions, employer witness depositions, and fact witness depositions. He has achieved success for his clients in both settlements and taking litigation to a final decision.

Allen began his legal career representing school districts, private companies, and municipalities in real estate, business, and employment law. He has experience initiating litigation on his clients’ behalf and defending them in various forums. Allen has also argued on behalf of his clients at the appellate level in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.

Allen, who joins from Pond Lehocky, LLP, is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (2013) and undergraduate degree with high honors from Ohio Northern University (2010).
