Capital Markets Partner Naveen Pogula Joins Thompson Hine in Atlanta

Thompson Hine LLP is pleased to announce that Naveen Pogula has joined the firm as a partner in its Corporate Transactions & Securities practice in Atlanta. He joins the firm from Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP.

Pogula focuses his practice on advising public companies on corporate governance and securities matters, with an emphasis on compliance with SEC registration and periodic reporting requirements and NYSE and Nasdaq exchange listing rules. He has significant experience in capital markets and financing transactions, including representation of issuers, underwriters and investors. Pogula also advises buyers, sellers and investors on structuring and executing mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and other strategic business combinations.

“Naveen’s practice is well-aligned with our existing work firmwide, adding even more strength to our securities, capital markets and corporate governance practice and supplementing our M&A capabilities in Atlanta,” said Tim McDonald, partner in charge of Thompson Hine’s Atlanta office. “His wide range of experience with clients of all sizes and in multiple jurisdictions will serve our clients well.”

Pogula has 14 years of experience. He worked at Shearman & Sterling before Morris, Manning & Martin, and has worked at offices located in New York, Singapore, London and Hong Kong.

Pogula also pointed to the Thompson Hine’s focus on continual innovation and its service delivery platform, including robust proprietary budgeting and reporting tools, which offer clients predictability, efficiency and transparency.

Pogula received his J.D. from Duke University School of Law, and his B.B.A. from the University of Georgia. He is admitted to practice in Georgia and New York.
