Seyfarth Shaw Makes Notable Addition in Houston

Seyfarth Shaw LLP announced an addition to their corporate department in Houston. Janice Suchyta, who most recently served as general counsel and chief strategy officer of the federally qualified not-for-profit community health center AccessHealth, will bring a breadth of knowledge in the health care sector.
Houston office managing partner Mark Coffin said, “Janice brings a unique and extensive in-house experience to Seyfarth as we expand what is one of the largest health care practices in the region.”

Suchyta is a frequent lecturer at the University of Houston College of Nursing where she discusses health law policy trends and issues affecting the health care delivery model and how the trends will impact future nursing professionals.
Suchyta earned her J.D. from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Michigan.
