Two Consumer Financial Services Attorneys Join Davis Wright Tremaine

Davis Wright Tremaine is addressing rising scrutiny from state and federal regulators on financial institutions with the addition of two highly experienced partners. The Washington D.C. office has gained the experience of Jonathan B. Engel and Robin Nunn in investigations and supervisory, enforcement, and litigation matters, especially with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
Engel has over ten years of experience in large and complex supervisory, enforcement and litigation proceedings with consumer financial protection laws. He is leaving his position as an enforcement attorney at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. He has also been an Assistant Attorney General in Consumer Protection Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office.
Nunn has five years of experience working with C-suite executives at major financial institutions handle federal investigations and examinations. She is leaving her position as vice president/senior associate general counsel at Capital One. She has also worked for American Express as counsel and six years with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.
