As a Chambers-rated attorney, Hold-Weiss is a licensed and nationally accredited physician assistant with work in inpatient and outpatient clinical environments. She will focus her work on regulatory, transactional and litigation matters for home health agencies, primarily hospices, health care providers, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities. Much of her work involves advising clients through federal and state audits and investigations in fraud and abuse matters such as anti-kickback, self-referral, certificate of need, false claims, corporate practice of medicine and fee splitting, facility licensure and professional licensing matters, and more.

Health Care practice leader Lowell C. Brown said, “We are very happy to be welcoming Rachel back. Serving as an in-house counsel gave Rachel great perspective on many of the pressures our clients face every day. That experience will only enhance her ability to provide practical and insightful advice that can help solve business problems.”

Hold-Weiss is a member of the District of Columbia bar, New York bar, and US District Court for the Eastern District of New York and Southern District of New York. She earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.

Arent Fox also announced the elevation of Jo-Ann Marchica to counsel in the Washington D.C. office.
