White & Case Gets Privatization Work from German Government


Law firm White & Case has been hired by the German finance ministry for advice on a proposed $2.3 billion privatization deal. The German unit of White & Case will be advising on the privatization of the government-owned real estate firm TLG Immobilien. White & Case will be represented by Jorg Kraffel who is cohead of the firm's M&A and private equity practice in Germany, along with Carsten Rodemann, who is the firm's M&A partner in Germany.

White & Case has five offices in Germany and ranks in the top ten law firms in the country in terms of size. TLG and its subsidiary TLG Wohen-Finmin own a good amount of property in the Germany, especially in the regions that made up the former East Germany and the properties vary from office buildings and residential apartment complexes to retail establishments.
