Sheppard Mullin to Open Office in Seoul
Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton announced on Wednesday that it is planning to open an office in Seoul, South Korea by the first quarter of 2012.The Seoul office will be headed by Byoung Soo "Seth" Kim. He is the finance and bankruptcy partner currently working out of the firm's New York and Los Angeles offices. He also handles the firm's Korea practice and will relocate to Seoul when the office opens. The firm already has offices in Shanghai and Beijing. The law firm's Korean clients already include impressive names such as Samsung, Hyundai Motor and Korea Development Bank among others.
