One Year Imprisonment For Former MoFo Partner Jonathan Dickstein

Jonathan Dickstein, a former partner of Morrison & Foerster, misappropriated $400,000 from health insurers and the San Francisco school district. This was done via a scam he and his wife pretend based on medical treatment and education of their autistic son. Dickstein was sentenced to one year imprisonment for the same. He pleaded accountable to 31 offense including grand theft, forgery, insurance fraud, and conspiracy in connection with the scam on October 18. The couple was arrested and charged with setting up a dummy education and in-home care company for their son in August 2010. The couple then used, Puzzle Pieces, the fake company, to double bill their medical insurance providers and the San Francisco Unified School District for their son's special-needs services.
