Federal Court Judge Denies Action Against Racial Discrimination Lawsuit

A New Jersey federal district court judge has denied action by Sedgwick soliciting to dismiss the discrimination lawsuit filed against the firm. Ex-associate of Sedgwick, Wilson Campbell, claims that he was been racially discriminated because he is black and that the firm asked him to resign after they got to know of his romantic relationship with a white employee of Jersey City's municipal court. He also claimed that Sedgwick treated black employees less favorably than their white counterparts. Joseph Guarino, a member in Epstein Becker & Green's Newark office, is advising Sedgwick on the case. Campbell is representing himself in the suit.
