Oracle and Rimini Street scuffle over $1,500

Oracle and Rimini Street are in a legal clash over US$1,500. Rimini Street, a large New York law firm, provides customers with stable Enterprise Resource Planning systems, like those sold by Oracle. Rimini Street was charged by Oracle last year, for its illegal business model that duplicated one used by former SAP subsidiary TomorrowNow. Currently, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, Rimini Street customer, is denying turning over documents sought by a subpoena if Oracle disagrees to pay the $1,500 reimbursement for time spent collecting them by its staff. Oracle has been called for a hearing on Tuesday.
