Black Lowe & Graham's loss is Foster Pepper's gain
Intellectual property boutique Black Lowe & Graham lose six attorneys. Black, Joel Ard, P.G. Scott Born, Douglas Grady, Richard Koske and Richard Vershave quit BLG to join hands with Seattle-based Foster Pepper. Richard Black was the co-founder of BLG. BLG has also changed its name to Lowe Graham Jones . Foster Pepper is well known for land use and commercial real estate practices. Foster Pepper, until now, had only two full-time attorneys focused on intellectual property. The company has been interested in raising the IP practice for quite some time. Most of BLG's clients have remained, except for a few who have chosen to move with Black.
