Transactional Commercial and Technology Associate Attorney

A law firm in Charlotte is seeking a Transactional Commercial and Technology Associate Attorney.

Job Overview:

The Transactional Commercial and Technology Associate Attorney will focus on vendor procurement and outsourcing matters, payment processing arrangements, financial service technology and operations agreements, financial back office activities, and corporate transactions. Privacy experience is advantageous. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent academic performance, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to provide practical advice.

Duties:

• Handle vendor procurement and outsourcing matters
• Negotiate payment processing arrangements
• Draft and review financial service technology and operations agreements
• Assist with financial back office activities
• Participate in corporate transactions
• Provide legal advice on privacy matters as needed
• Conduct legal research and analysis

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of transactional experience preferred
• Significant experience in vendor procurement and outsourcing matters, payment processing arrangements, financial service technology and operations agreements, financial back office activities, and/or corporate transactions
• Privacy experience is a plus
• Excellent academic performance
• Strong interpersonal skills

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction

Skills:

• Proficiency in transactional law
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to provide practical legal advice
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
