Associate Attorney needed for Los Angeles office

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to handle wage and hour class actions and wrongful terminations. The ideal candidate will have defense-side Labor and Employment experience.

Duties:

• Handle wage and hour class actions and wrongful termination cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to Labor and Employment law.
• Draft legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and management.
• Maintain organized case files, deadlines, and client communications.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
• Defense-side Labor and Employment experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
