Job Overview:

A nationally recognized and rapidly expanding law firm is actively seeking Associate Attorneys with 1–5 years of litigation experience to join its California-based teams. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a hybrid role across multiple practice areas such as business litigation, employment law, construction defect, general liability, and appellate litigation, with strong mentorship and career advancement pathways.

Location:

  • San Diego, CA

Duties:

  • Handle diverse litigation matters across various practice groups

  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and motions

  • Manage discovery and participate in depositions

  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials

  • Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and partners

  • Engage in a culture of mentorship, leadership, and team development

Requirements:

  • 1–5 years of experience in litigation (any of the following areas: commercial, employment, construction, general liability, or appellate preferred)

  • Excellent legal writing and research skills

  • Strong academic background and references

  • Commitment to firm culture and team values

  • Job stability and a desire for long-term growth

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong advocacy and courtroom communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team

  • Exceptional time management and organizational capabilities

  • Motivated and client-service-oriented mindset
