Litigation Of Counsel

Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a seasoned Litigation Of Counsel with expertise in pharmaceutical and medical device products liability, specifically in Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing litigation group handling complex, multi-jurisdictional matters. 

Location:

• San Diego, CA

Duties:

• Draft and review complex discovery responses, legal briefs, motions, and memoranda

• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff

• Collaborate with clients and subject matter experts

• Assist with fact development and participate in depositions

• Contribute to and help execute overall case strategy

• Focus on Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice related to pharmaceutical and medical device litigation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience

• Experience working at an AmLaw 100 firm preferred

• Demonstrated success in legal brief writing, particularly under Federal Rules of Evidence Rule 702 and Daubert standards

• Background in products liability litigation

• Industry experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical devices preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD)

• Strong academic performance from nationally accredited law schools

Certifications:

• Active bar license in the state of application

• New York bar admission encouraged
