Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate to join its growing corporate group in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 4 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, sale, leasing, and financing. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a lateral associate to become part of a dynamic and expanding office, working in a collaborative environment with exposure to a diverse range of real estate matters.

Location:

  • Greenville, SC

Duties:

  • Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, sale, leasing, and financing

  • Draft and negotiate real estate contracts, agreements, and documents

  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on commercial real estate matters

  • Perform legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients on complex real estate deals

  • Assist with business development and maintaining client relationships

Requirements:

  • 1 to 4 years of commercial real estate experience

  • Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, including acquisition, sale, leasing, and financing

  • Ability to communicate effectively and think analytically

  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach to work

  • Admission to the South Carolina Bar (or ability to obtain it)

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the South Carolina Bar (or eligibility to obtain membership)
