Job Overview:
A respected law firm in Greenville, SC, is seeking a Real Estate Transactions Attorney to oversee closing files and facilitate property closings in a high-volume environment. The role provides significant exposure to real estate transactions and client interaction. Duties:

  • Manage end-to-end real estate closing files, from file opening through post-closing

  • Conduct in-person and remote closings with clients, agents, and lenders

  • Draft, review, and interpret legal documents related to real estate transactions

  • Collaborate regularly with real estate agents, lenders, clients, and internal staff

  • Ensure transactions are compliant with legal standards and internal firm procedures

  • Maintain detailed records and timely communication for all assigned matters

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in South Carolina

  • Willingness to handle multiple transactions in a fast-paced legal setting

  • Availability to work on-site in the Greenville office as needed

  • Comfortable interacting directly with clients, lenders, and title companies

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the South Carolina Bar

Skills:

  • Meticulous attention to detail for accurate processing of legal documents

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with various parties

  • Time management capabilities to handle a large volume of closings simultaneously
