A law firm in San Diego, CA is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience, preferably in medical malpractice and long-term care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all phases of litigation. Excellent research, writing, and litigation skills are required, along with efficiency and a positive attitude. The candidate must be licensed by the California State Bar.

 

Duties:

  • Handle all phases of litigation, including case analysis, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients.
  • Manage caseload and deadlines effectively.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of legal experience.
  • Experience in medical malpractice and long-term care (preferred).
  • Excellent research, writing, and litigation skills.
  • Efficiency and ability to work independently.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Licensed by the California State Bar.

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed by the California State Bar.
